Research question 4: Questionaire

The last research questions we had to do, which was "How does the target audience view this subject matter, and furthermore what are their opinions and thoughts?", we did a questionaire to find the answers from our target population.                                                                                                                                                                                                 the questionaire was made by my team member Abaas Alichi using google forms as the tool to make it and we both came up with the questions to put in it.                                                                                                                                                                                                     We thought of 6  closed endded questionaire as we wanted quantitative data as it is easier to measure and means we could get a larger sample more easily too. The questions are as follows: 

Q. are you sensitive to blood/gore in movies or shows?

Q. are you comfortable with watching themes of depression?

Q. do you enjoy implicit forms of showing things or explicit forms of showing things?

Q. do you like dark humour in movies?

Q. do you watch movies/shows that go against their beliefs?

Q. do you enjoy transitions in movies?

We asked these specific questions because this it the types of ides we wanted to implement in our film. we wanted to see if our target audience would be fine with and would they want to actually watch this.

speaking of the target population, it includes largely late teens and young adults. it doesnt mean that people who are older can not find the film we are trying to make enjoyable, but the subject matter that we want to present in our film is based on our feelings andemotions. And I and our group felt the story would be more relatable to people our age as they are actively going through these experiences in their life. thats why we wanted to get the answers from their perspective specifically. We however definetly do not intend children to watch our film. 

The sampling echnique we used was volunteer sample, and we did this by posting on our social media the questionaire. We knew we would get responses from our followers and they consist of the target audience we want.

but to make even more sure that we get our target population, we ask two more questions that had limited and fixed responses. which are as follows-

• your gender 
• your age- <15, 15 to 18, 18 to 21, >21

We posted on all our social and we will see the responses after a few days.
