figuring out sound effect transititons

I was looking through the film today, it occurred to me there should be transitions between the memory scenes. When I was working on the script in fact I thought having a snap like sound to cut to each scene. So, I tried to download a snap like sound from the internet. When searching I found many paid websites which I couldn’t because it was not in the budget to say the least. But, I eventually found a website that offers free samples. Pixabay.

This website amazed me with all its features. I realized I could use it for any other sound effect needed for the film because it had so many. Its like I found a treasure chest in the depths of a cave. When searching for the snap sound, I stumble across something else. Another sound effect I could use for the film. It was a suspenseful music, that kept rising like its reaching boiling point. I thought it could be used when we move the camera from close up to extreme low angle. It worked seamlessly. I found the soundbite I wanted too, put it between each memory scene and also an effect where it transitions the scene to white to the next, it worked like a charm.

They complemented each other so well. Also, While I was on Pixa bay. I searched up a "light bulb buzzing sound" to have some some background noise in the office firing scene, so it does not sound dead. Anyway's, I’m done for the day. I think I’ll edit tomorrow. Anyways, I will catch you all soon.
