First day of editing
I already learned how to somewhat use the coloring system a while ago when I was testing the editing tool, so I started trying to get the color I wanted. It took me quite a while but I am happy with my results.
I was having issue with one the scenes where the camera was going in an arc, it switched the lighting which made my adjustments looked bad. The first half of it was fine but then, the colors in the second half became too extreme. Too green. I realized I needed to do something to make the colors stable. This is when I learned how to split clips in premiere. I split the clips when the color was about to change and then for the second half of the clip I adjusted the coloring to not be so extreme and fit in line with the first half and the rest of the scene for that matter. This was some amount of work.
I decided to do one last thing for the day, color the break up scene to get it over with it and call it a day. The scene was already favoring yellow and orange like colors. I tried to use already custom-made color grades but none of them fit the vision I truly wanted. So, I personally custom edited this scene too. I wanted a dark aroma, like the colors are screaming but nothing useful can be found, I don’t know. I just wanted the colors to feel like a break up. I turned up the orange and red hues in the scene. I might change it later will see. But I’m done for now. Talk to you guys in a bit.
