Shooting day 2

As I mentioned in the previous post, we went to a friend of my dad’s office when he was on leave for vacation. We reached around 11:40, we had no set time limit so we could stay there as long as we wanted. We took full advantage of that. We first re arrange the table and chairs to get the environment I desired, also removing certain things in the table and arranging the curtains just right to get the mood and lighting I wanted. There was natural light and lights of ceiling. After this, we started shooting. My brother who was playing the boss was doing well throughout, each take doing just fine. I was doing a bad job as my facial expressions, just like in the scene with Niranjana was not expressive enough for me as the director. My sister filmed the scene, she was also an issue because she wasn’t getting the camera movement and shots I wanted. She did try her best and eventually got it right. But it took a while and my best performances were not helping. We were there for 2 hours. I wanted at least good 2 takes of each shot in the scene. That’s why we took so long just for 1 scene. I did get 2 good takes of each shot. That was a wrap up on filming day 2.
