Shooting day 1

Then, we went
down a bit quickly as it was a quarter to 6 so evening was in the arisen. The parking
Lott was near my building so not much walking distance. Niranjana was now
operating the camera and taking the shots moving forward. We took many takes,
most of them were not good as Abbas kept fumbling the words and I also kept
walking too slow or quickly, timing was a bit off from me. Eventually we did a
take that was satisfactory at least. Although, when I looked back through it
when I came home, I thought it could have been a bit better. Darren finally arrived as promised, and then we went up to the roof. I thought we were doing thing a bit slowly, but it was still day light time when we reachedSo we just hanged
out and chatted. When the sun finally set we started filming. I woild like to
mention that I am scared of heights. So when I was dangling my legs with noting
beneath it was a little scary. Darren calmed me down though. We took a couple
of takes, Darren line delivery was a bit off so I wanted a perfect take. It wasn’t
that bad though, mostly smooth sailing. Until, we went down to film the last
scene of the movie. We used torch from our phones as a make shift back light. Niranjana
was filming while Abbas was holding up the light. As we were filming, we both
kept messing up the lines. And then the call to prayer from the mosque started s
for 20 mins we couldn’t do much because the sound from the mosque would be in the
back ground. We were all kind of agitated as we had been filming for nearly 3
hours as it was closing to 8, so eventually finally got the take we needed. And
also we needed a take for the wide shot, so we did it quickly some of us had to
leave. Abbas and Darren came down to my house to export all the videos to laptop. After that shooting wrapped.
